English National Opera – Pirates of Penzance, 2024

Costume Cutter and Maker. Heading up a team of over 10 makers, Laura cut and supervised the construction of 10 Victorian bodices and skirts, to ENO designs. These were made to match previous sets, with detailed decorative techniques, hand finishing and fittings.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat – Any Dream Ltd, 2024

Costume Cutter and Maker. Working again for this popular touring musical from Tim Rice, Laura created 60 performance knickers in many, many different colours, to sizes given by the production company.

Title Embargoed – Angels Costumes, 2024

Costume Maker. Laura cut and constructed 17 Regency Men’s Waistcoats for a high end feature film, ensuring Angel’s high standards were maintained in her construction and finishing throughout. With a very short timeframe, the waistcoats were made from silks and brocades, lined and hand finished.

Rigoletto- Welsh National Opera, 2024

Costume cutter and Maker. Grading multiple sizes from a pattern supplied by production, Laura created multiples of 16th Century inspired Jackets and Breeches.

A Christmas Carol – Northern Ballet, 2024

Costume Cutter and Maker. Pattern drafting Victorian historical shirts from a sample supplied, Laura graded the pattern according to measurements supplied, cut, fit, and sewed up over 20 shirts for this beautiful ballet.

Title Embargoed – Angels Costumes, 2024

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura was supplied with a WWII enlisted mans shirt sample, which she re-created and then graded a master pattern using measurements supplied. Working with Angels Costumes she then made-up multiples of the shirt for a feature film to be released in 2025.

The Forsyte Saga- BBC/PBS, 2024

Drapesperson. Laura assisted with the Set Dec department to upholster Regency sofas and chairs, pattern and sew up swags, tails, and drapes, cut and sew up multiple various tablecloths, parasols, and other set decoration details.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - Eon/Crossroads Live UK, 2024

Pattern Cutter and Maker. Working from original designs, Laura pattern cut, graded, and created samples for fittings, then finished multiple Men’s and Women’s workwear inspired costumes for the sweet Factory performers.

Avalon - Giffords Circus, 2024

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura cut, graded and made-up multiple front of house velvet jackets, as well as cut and constructed several other pieces for Giffords 2023 ‘Avalon’ show. Laura attended fittings and altered as necessary to the performers requirements before finishing.

Bob Marley: One Love – Paramount, 2023

Costume Maker. Laura was asked to create a small run of 22 Jamaican Police Shirts by Angels’ Costumes. Supervising a team, and with a tight turnaround, she and the team followed the strict finishing details required to meet Angel’s exacting standards.

The Little Mermaid- Disney, 2023

Costume Maker. Laura created a production run of over 100 ‘Peasant’ and ‘Gentlemen’s’ historical Style Shirts from Linen. Supervising a small remote team, Laura made the shirts to a very short deadline and beautifully hand finished each with dyed buttons. These shirts were commissioned by Angels’ Costumes and finished to Angels’ exacting specifications.

Parade: The Giant Wheel - Autin Dance Theatre, 2023

Costume Designer. Laura worked closely with Autin Dance Theatre to realize their underlying inspiration of workwear through the decades and pulled on inspiration from 1920s’ car mechanics to the Land Girls of the 1940s’ and created a unique, strongly stylised denim look, based on the modern perception of ‘workwear’. Laura worked with a team to sew up each costume which included duster coats and multiple sets of ‘overalls’, all a different design. Parade – The Giant Wheel is a performance inspired by the beauty, power, and impact of people from different walks of life coming together, featuring a 12-foot tall Giant Wheel powered by 6 street artists.

Rivals - Disney, 2023

Drapesperson. Laura supervised a small team to create dozens of seat covers for Concorde, drapes and blinds, upholstery, and soft furnishing elements (lampshades, table covers and decorations etc.), and facilitate their arrival and installation on set. Set in the 1980s, this TV show demanded period accuracy in detailing, research, and finishing.

Ginsters: Taste the Effort – TBWA/London, 2023

Costume Maker. Commissioned to create a hand illustrated, custom fabric printed with Ginsters ingredients as the subject, then make up costumes from the printed fabric. Laura designed the print and facilitated the printing before patterning, cutting, and making the costumes.

Cake: The Marie Antoinette Playlist - The Lyric, 2023

Workroom Supervisor. Working closely with Costume Designer Sami Fendall, Laura cut and graded these incredibly diverse and heavily stylized 18th Century inspired Costumes. Working with stretch silks to create beautiful pastel pieces, Laura supervised a team to cut, make up, create fabrics, corsets, singular sleeves, rompers, trousers, caps, and lots more deliciously frivolous looking pieces. She also supervised the fittings and alterations as needed.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream - Shakespeare's Globe, 2023

Workroom Supervisor. Working closely with Designer Takis Laura worked to pattern, grade and cut the Fairies and Egeus’ costumes. Designed to be a modern, fantastical version of the Tudor period, Laura cut the costumes as historical garments, then supervised a small team to make up elaborate toiles, attend fittings and then make up the final costumes. Pieces were worked into with pleating, trapunto, breaking down, layering fabrics and surface texture to create multi layered, beautiful costumes for each of the Fairies.

Cinderella - The Deco theatre at The Old Savoy, 2023

Costume Designer and Supervisor. Laura worked with a large team to cut, make up, fit, and finish a glorious riot of pantomime costumes including tailored tailcoats, ball gowns, cloaks, and elaborate Dame costumes.   

Monster Street - LEGO, 2023

Costume Designer. Laura worked closely with both LEGO and a small team to realise costumes for LEGO’s annual Halloween Parade. Costumes were real life versions of LEGO characters and required custom fabric design, tailored elements, 3D prop elements’, distressing and breaking down as well as study costume construction. All costumes were cut to performers measurements.

Little Women - Opera Holland Park, 2023

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura was commissioned by Angels’ Costumes to pattern, grade and sew up a small run of Edwardian Skirts which were later dip-dyed to match the characters.

42nd Street - Sadler's Wells, 2023

Costume Maker. Laura was commissioned by Gatewell Productions to sew up a run of Men’s Trousers with zip fly and period detailing.

Les Misérables - Cameron Mackintosh, 2023

Costume Maker. Laura was commissioned by Gatewell Productions to sew up a run of Men’s Fall Front Trousers. With custom historical details and hand finishing.

Timestalker – Western Edge Pictures, 2022

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura created stunt 80s Wedding Dress multiples, 18th Century Frock Coat multiples and other costume pieces for this film based in various time periods. Original patterns were created and graded to measurements provided by production, and fabrics provided.

The Winter King - Bad Wolf 2022

Workroom Supervisor. Laura supervised a large team and operated as the Remote Crowd Workroom for this fantasy TV series. She graded every crowd pattern for production according to their size range and managed the team to sample each costume piece. Additionally, she cut more patterns as needed and made well over 1000 costume pieces including multiple different designs of Shirts, Trousers, Tunics, Jackets, Dresses, Robes, Hoods, Snoods etc for this 4th Century/Fantasy production. She worked closely with the production for nearly a year to fully realise all the pieces, including creating original patterns and samples, assisting with deciding the most efficient construction processes - most pieces were finished by hand, under intense time pressures- and liaising with their supervising and design team to create production runs between 10 and 100 of each design.

Matthew Bourne’s Sleeping Beauty - New Adventures, 2022

Costume Maker. Commissioned to create multiple tailored Jackets and Waistcoats for this stunning production.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat - Any Dream Ltd, 2022

Costume Maker. Once again Laura supervised a team to create the Go-Go Girls and Boys, as well as a set of 10 can-can Skirts but this time for the official Australian Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s classic Musical.  

House of Flamenka - Sadler’s Wells 2022

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura worked closely with the design team to create multiple tailored Flamenco costumes including Jackets, Trousers and Corsets, heavily embellished and to an exceedingly high standard in a short time frame. Fittings were also attended to ensure the correct shape and fit for the Dancers for this exceptionally stunning modern take on flamenco.

Father Christmas - LaplandUK, 2022

Costume Maker. Laura worked with Gatewell Productions to create a run of 30 Father Christmas Fall Front velvet trousers with embroidered trim details.

Little Women - Opera Holland Park, 2022

Costume Cutter and Maker. Working with Angels Costumes, Laura created multiple Edwardian Skirts for the sisters, to be overdyed in-house. Patterns were created remotely to measurements provided.

Carmen - Opera Holland Park, 2022

Costume Maker. Multiple uniforms were altered by Laura and her assistants as per fitting notes provided by Angels the Costumers for this brilliantly realised new production.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat – The Really Useful Group, 2022

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura was commissioned to create the Go-Go Girls and Boys, as well as a set of 10 can-can Skirts for the official UK Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s classic Musical. Laura worked closely with the design team and the printers to create multi-size digital pattern pieces with the Go-Go design, which were then send to the printers for a run of multiple sizes. Laura then supervised the making up of each Go-Go and can-can piece in her workroom with a team of costumers. Costumes were later repeated for the official Australian Tour.

Oklahoma! - Young Vic 2022

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura cut and made up two of the iconic Oklahoma! dresses- one Green, one Yellow- as per original design, attend fittings and finished for this invigorating take on the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic.

Willow - Disney, 2021

Costume Cutter and Maker. Supervising a team and operating as a remote Workroom to support the main production, Laura worked closely with them to pattern cut, sample and grade patterns to make 100s of costume pieces including Arming Jackets, medieval/fantasy style trousers, shirts, peasants, and Trolls.

School for Good and Evil - Netflix, 2021

Costume Maker. Laura worked with Gatewell Productions to create a multiple Regency style Fall Front trousers and multiples of 3 different styles of soft tailored Regency Waistcoats including several with notched and plain revered collars.  

Pride & Prejudice: An Experiment in Romance - Peacock, 2021

Costume Maker. Laura created multiple tailored Regency Waistcoats, hand finished and with hand worked buttonholes.

Sanditon Seasons 2/3 - Brit Box, 2021

Costume Cutter and Maker. Working remotely, Laura worked with a small team to support their main in-house team. She patterned, graded, and sampled Men’s historical Shirts (both hand finished, and machine finished), multiples of Regency Corsets in various sizes, Regency Waistcoats, Regency Fall Front Trousers, Regency Dresses, and tailored coats of various designs.

Obi-Wan Kenobi- Disney, 2021

Costume Maker. Laura worked with Gatewell Productions to create repeats of multiple designs of pleated trousers.

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura worked with Angels Costumes to duplicate a pattern from the original costume sample to create 3 Cassocks, handmade and hand finished.  

Mission Impossible 7/8 - Paramount, 2021

Costume Maker. Commissioned by Gatewell Productions Laura created multiples of blouses in fabrics as diverse as chiffon, foil, dotted Swiss and brocade, and in several designs.

Euro 2020, 2021

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura created a production run of Military inspired; reversible Bomber Jackets inspired by the Royal Guard. Laura also created Silver T-Shirts and Black Sequin Masks to complete the look. Over 30 sets in total, all patterned and graded to the production’s measurements.

Father Christmas - Lapland UK, 2021

Costume Maker. Laura created a production run of Father Christmas Fall Front faux leather trousers and embroidered and smocked standing collar shirts. She worked closely with Gatewell Productions workroom as the smocking was created in-house with them, then the shirts sewn up by Laura and a small team.

Al Wasl, Dubai - Welsh National Opera/Expo 2020, 2021

Costume Cutter and Maker. Commissioned to create a run of peasant shirts and trousers, approx. 80in total, Laura pattern graded the WNO supplied pattern to fit various sizes, then supervised a small team to sew up and ship the final costume pieces.

Peaky Blinders - BBC, 2020

Costume Maker. Laura created a small run of Black cross-over Shirts from Cotton Drill. Pattern graded to 4 sizes and finished to Angels’ specifications.

House of the Dragon - HBO, 2020

Costume Cutter and Maker. Commissioned to create a run of wrap trousers, Laura pattern cut, sampled, and then graded the pattern for this production run. She then completed a set of patterns for their in-house workroom.

Les Misérables – Cameron Mackintosh, 2019/2020

Costume Maker. Laura supplied a production run of Fall Front Pants from various wool fabrics, hand finished and lined in various sizes for both the West End and touring productions of Les Mis. She also made a variety of Peasant Shirts from knotty Silk for the revolutionaries whilst working with Gatewell Productions.

Team Jackets - Park Dean Resorts, 2020

Costume Cutter and Maker. Commissioned to create a production run of 200 Bomber Jackets, Laura supervised a large team to cut, grade to measurements given and assist with creating this large run.

Cruella - Disney, 2019

Costume Maker. Working with Gatewell Productions Laura produced a run of over 40 Fall Front Breeches from a gorgeous silvery-white Brocade. Hand finished and lined to specifications. Additionally, a small run of 12 Velvet Trousers and Velvet Waistcoats were tailored in jewel tones.

Human Pyramid - The National Lottery, 2019

Costume Cutter and Maker. Commissioned to create production run of nearly 40 custom made Unitards. Patterns were created as per their design and graded as well as fabric being custom printed.

Game of Thrones - HBO, 2019

Costume Maker. Laura created over 40 Fantasy Style Shirts from silks, satin’s, taffetas, and chiffons. Three styles were commissioned including cross over, boat neck and standing collar, beautifully hand finished. Commissioned by Angels’ Costumes and finished to Angels’ specifications.

The Kings’ Man – 20th Century studios, 2019

Remote Workroom Supervisor. Laura supervised a team to create a production run of over 60 Boer War Uniforms which were made to Angel’s exacting standards with beautiful top stitching, keyhole buttonholes, stitched eyelets, and historically accurate details.

Rapunzel - Polkadot Pantomimes, 2019

Costume Maker. Laura designed and made a Cup Cake Dame costume and Rapunzel character costume to her original designs. She also made up a production run of Crinoline Hoop Skirts in various lengths.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland – PWR Events LTD, 2019

Costume Maker. Working with The Costume Boutique, Laura cut and made-up sets of Dickensian costumes to original designs.

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura created costumes for The Shakespeare Birthplace Trusts’ theatrical troupes summer production run. Multiples of Doublets, Breeches and Shirts were created, as well as one off pieces like Tudor Skirts and Fantasy Waistcoats.

Wannabe - Red Entertainment, 2019

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura created three looks for this fantastic Edinburgh Fringe Production designed by Sarah Juliet Costumes for Red Entertainment. She utilised pattern cutting and fantastical tailoring, costume tailoring and costume creation to create looks for Baby Spice, Scary Spice and Posh Spice.

Kindred Spirits - The Frolicks- 2019

Costume Designer. Laura cut and made up a Victorian Medium/Fortune Teller costume with Corset, Undergarments and Dress. Patterned in house and created using a mix of modern and historical techniques for a USA tour of a new, original production.  

Annual Show - Mainstage Performing Arts, 2019

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura drafted individual patterns for each of the 30 performers, then created the final costumes from high performance dancewear fabrics. She also attended fittings and made alterations where necessary, and in reaction to performers needs.

Erica - Sony Interactive Entertainment/Flavourworks, 2018

Costume Cutter and Maker. Working from original designs sent by the production designer, Laura patterned and created a short production run of vintage style workhouse dresses and Jackets to match for this independent film set in an asylum. 

How to Catch a Krampus - Sink the Pink, 2018

Costume Designer. Laura utilised her pattern cutting and costume making skills to make up a production run of Victorian mourning costumes including bloomers, bustles, and dresses for this original, raucous, and brilliant Christmas show!

Living History Performers - The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, 2018

Historical Costume Maker. Managing small production runs of costume and utilizing her historical knowledge of both pattern making and construction to Laura created Tudor shirts, chemises, kirtles’, and slops/breeches. Often almost completely handmade as they will be seen up close by the public. Laura also assisted in re-designing and making a complete new costumed wardrobe for ‘Shakespeare Aloud!’ in 2019.

Invisible Circus - Boomtown, 2018

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura created a small production run of circus inspired ruff shirts with decoration and bloomers for this popular festival. A magnificent tri-colour sequined tailcoat was also created using classic tailoring techniques. 

Various Productions - Tui Holidays/T.E.D., 2018   

Costume Designer. Laura supervised a large remote team to cut, grade and construct, source/buy multiple costume pieces including hand embellishing fabrics, tailoring for men and women and construction, hand painting fabrics, headdress construction, Lycra work, dressmaking, and 3D Props Costume Building. Corseted underpinnings were built into several designs, and most were quick rigged for the ease of the performer, as well as being built to be adjustable for cast changes. In all she designed and produced 35 shows for Tui for their 2018 season. 

Tolkien- Fox Searchlight, 2017

Costume Cutter and Maker. Multiples of 1930's Historical Shirts and Collars patterned and made up by Laura. With historical accuracy paramount, over 50 Collars and multiple Shirts- including breaking down- were created to fit with rented pieces. 

The Wynters Men - Shoreditch Pictures 2017

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura utilised her skills as an historical pattern cutter and costume to make a large quantity of 1850s peasant shirts and 1850's woollen peasant trousers. 

Cirque - Costume World, 2016/17

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura worked closely with Costume World, their designers and fabric supplied to create several beautifully tailored, Circus inspired men’s and women’s coats with lavish hand decoration including embroidery, lace overlay, dye work and sequin and crystal embellishment. Laura also managed a small team to create a large production run of gold and silver piped and crystal embellished Black PVC Corsets in various sizes. 

Jack and the Beanstalk – Times Square Panto, Newcastle, 2017   

Costume Cutter and Maker. Working closely with the Producers and Head of Wardrobe to design and create four identical, 'Gone with the Wind' inspired crinoline dresses, Laura cut patterns to fit measurements given she also sewed them up, including creating underpinnings and delivered on set and fit in Newcastle. 

Untitled - Sarah Juliet Costumes, 2017

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura liaised closely with the designer to create a range of designs for several performances including multiple art deco inspired can-can skirts and wrap skirts with applique detailing, several decorated crinoline cage skirts and 22 individual fairies with jackets, bodices, trousers and skirts with hand embellishments and cuffs to match. All pieces were individually pattern cut to fit designs and measurements provided and sewn up by Laura whilst supervising a small team. With such an incredibly small turnaround, deliveries were made in stages to manage time effectively. 

Dick Whittington/Wizard of Oz/Willy Wonka - Jag Props, 2017

Costume Maker. Laura utilised her skills as a pattern cutter, tailor, and costume maker, whilst using historical and modern techniques to create several costumes for productions designed by Jag Props including The Rat King, Willy Wonka, and The Cowardly Lion among others. Utilizing hand tailoring and corsetry techniques she also created Alice as well as historical sewing and patterning for Dicks mayoral cloak.  A separate musculature, leotard base was created for the Cowardly Lion suit and distressing and breakdown techniques were employed to create the Scarecrow costume.

Old Town/Wild West – Boomtown, 2017

Costume Maker. Laura cut and constructed costume elements for the Old Town and Wild West experiences for the 2017 Boomtown Festival. 

The Band - David Pugh & Dafydd Rogers + Take That, 2017

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura supervised a small team to pattern cut, fit, and create quick release Dungarees as well as Wedding Dresses for the fastest selling Musical in UK history. 

Beauty and the Beast - Scarlett Entertainment, 2017

Costume Designer. Utilising her pattern and costume making skills, Laura supervised a team to deliver this complete, originally designed show inspired by the Venice Carnival. She created multiple costume pieces including hand painting fabrics, hand embellishing, embroidering, dying, and manipulating fabric for multiple pieces, tailoring and construction, millinery, Lycra work, dressmaking and 3D Props Costume Building were also employed.  Historical underpinnings were made to complement some of the designs, as well light up panels in some of the costumes and many, many rhinestones!

The Handmaiden - Secret Cinema, 2017

Costume Cutter and Maker. Working closely with the Designer for the Secret Cinema event, Laura pattern cut the historically influenced Jaegori Jackets to measurements provided then made them up. 

Alice in Wonderland - Scarlett Entertainment, 2016/7

Costume Designer. Whilst assisted with a small team, Laura cut and made up this originally designed show including creating 3D prop costumes, stretch pieces for aerial performers, tailored and hand painted/embellished elements for the Mad Hatter and White Rabbit and multiple frilly dresses.

The Victorian Slum – BBC/Wall to Wall 2016                                                      

Costume Consultant. Whilst advising the production company on various historical details such as construction, patterns and machinery, Laura also pulled on her extensive historical knowledge to create historically accurate Victorian menswear as well as pattern props. She also assisted in the development of Instructional Sewing Booklets for the show, whilst liaising with the Producers and filming team. 

5 Guys Named Moe - Underbelly/Cameron Mackintosh, 2016          

Tailor. Working with an assistant, Laura pattern cut, and hand tailored 8 matching tailcoats and waistcoats in rainbow colours for this vibrant show. Each were individually cut and tailored with matching Waistcoats, including Fitting individually to the performer before shipping. 

Cats - Best of Musical Starnights, Showfabrik GmbH 2016/17

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura utilised her skills as a textile artist to fabric dye, paint and manipulate textiles and fabric to create fabric to be made into Cat Suits for this touring production. Lycra was hand painted to create the 'look' for each Cat, then each Cat Suit was created with further fabric manipulation techniques.

Judith: A Parting from the Body – The Arcola Theatre 2016     

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura utilized her historical pattern cutting and costume construction knowledge to create a beautiful Green Silk quick rigged tailored and hand finished Edwardian bodice and skirt

Macbeth – Insane Root 2016                                                                

Costume Cutter and Maker. Laura pattern cut, constructed, fit, and finished/decorated several styles of Medieval kirtle for performers in Insane Root’s production of Macbeth.

Elysium – Jagprops/Celebrity Cruises 2015/6                                                          

Costume Cutter and Maker. Liaising closely with the Jagprops team, Laura created patterns based on the Jagprops designs to be issued to other makers across the UK for both dance and performance wear, as well as making multiple patterns for costuming constructed in her workroom. Costumes patterned and constructed included tutu's, gowns and leotards with quick change elements, performance t-shirts and corsets and embellished collars. All costumes were Designed and commissioned by Jag Props for Celebrity Cruises

2016 Season – Beverley Entertainment 2015/6                                         

Costume Supervisor. Laura designed original and re-designed shows for their 2016 Season. Supervising a large team to source, build, fit and finish both men and women’s modern and historical costumes for multiple shows including elements of corsetry, tailoring, millinery, 3D props, embroidery and hand dying, and costume making. Her team realised 100s of pieces for shows as diverse as West End re-interpretations of Wicked, Mary Poppins, Chorus Line and Cats among others

Flat Footed Apocalypse – Mouse Bot Productions 2011                          

Costume Designer. Laura created original designs for this film short, sourced multiple pieces and patterned and made-up original vintage inspired circus and clown costumes. She supervised the location dressing and costume co-ordination and continuity whilst liaising with the FX team as crowd performers were duplicated.

The Ballad of Mary Whyddon – Chagford Filmmaking 2010     

Costume Designer. Laura created original 17th Century historically accurate costume designs for this independent feature film. Whilst supervising a small workroom team, she also pattern cut and made-up 17th Century inspired bodices, corsets/stays, skirts and dresses, shirts, doublets, and breeches. Laura also sourced rental pieces for both lead and Sa performers, managed fittings, and alterations, and breaking down where necessary.  Whilst on location Laura also supervised the team in dressing, continuity, de-rigging, and costume cleaning/maintenance for the duration of the film shoot.

Dark Density – Faldor Films 2011                                           

Costume Designer. Laura designed, cut, fit, and made up historically influenced Victorian costumes which included underpinnings, corset, skirts, and bodice. She also acted as lead costume on filming days, assisting with continuity and costume maintenance for the duration of the film shoot. She also liaised with the production designer to source rental pieces for lead and support costuming, co-ordinating fittings, and alterations where necessary.

Sir Lanval – Chagford Filmmaking Group, 2009                                  

Costume Designer. Utilising her extensive research knowledge and library, Laura designed this film with French Medieval historical and fantasy elements. She pulled together a small team to assist her with cutting and making up, fitting, and finishing the Medieval fantasy costuming which included elements of hand dying, embroidery and embellishing, jerkins, kirtles, breeches, quilted gambesons, and cloaks. Laura also liaised with the costume co-ordinator to source and rent crowd costuming as well as fit, alter and break this down where necessary. Laura also acted as the locations costume supervisor and assisted with continuity and costume maintenance for the film shoot.

The Laidly Worm of Spindleston Haugh – Chagford Filmmaking Group, 2008        

Costume Designer. Liaising with the director and production designer, Laura created an original Dragon costume which was part costume, part puppet. She was on hand during the film shoot to animate parts of the costume, which included moulded and hand felted elements, make up and hair details.
